Winmau was founded in 1946 by ex-Sargent Major Harry Kicks, who named the company after his wife, Winifred Maud. Pronounced like "Winmore", it became the most iconic brand in darts worldwide and was a pure marketing stroke of genius.

Steel dart boards :

The flagship in the field of steel dartsboard is definitely the Winmau Blade series, which has its origins in 1997. Even the first versions were absolute bestsellers at the time and were constantly being further developed. Today we are already at the 6th generation. It is an exceptional dartboard designed using the latest technology. The board is available in 3 different versions, "BLADE 6, BLADE 6 DC, BLADE 6 TC", so that you can enjoy Winmau quality in every price category. The "BLADE 6 TC" has also been available with the official PDC logo since 2022, as it is the new board of the professional tour. An absolute highlight!

Lighting systems :

To feel like a pro on the board, you need a well-lit dartboard. Winmau offers high-quality solutions here. With 132 warm-white LEDs, the Winmau plasma lighting system ensures an optimal and shadow-free illuminated dartboard. Thanks to a fixed screw connection to the wall, it hangs securely and stably and cannot slip or fall off.
In addition, Winmau also offers the Polaris lighting system. It is the little brother of the Plasma, which provides a better overview on the board thanks to its semi-circular design and at the same time is significantly more space-saving than the Winmau Plasma.
